She has a wide range of experience regarding foreign investor’s issue in Romania, practicing business law for over 20 years and being involved in corporate and merger & acquisitions work, as well as in dispute resolution, banking, restructuring and insolvency.
Maria has assisted private equity, investment funds and private investors in their formation, capital rising, management and various organizational matters. As well, she is actively involved in insolvency proceeding or bankruptcy and provides assistance/representation to companies and their shareholders dealing with restructuring and insolvency situations, also representing creditors rights in insolvency/bankruptcy proceedings.
In her career, she distinguished herself by finding creative and practical solutions and employing innovative techniques, including legal risk assessments and early case evaluation to crack problems in relation with major contract disputes, stakeholders and partnership disputes, real estate or construction disputes and others.
